1: Requirements for water sources for water sprinkler truck

When water sprinkler trucks use ditches and ponds as water sources, the ends of the water suction pipes must be completely submerged in water.

To avoid sucking in stones or more silt and floating debris, a filter device is generally installed at the end of the water suction pipe. It is strictly 

forbidden to remove the filter device. It is recommended to replenish water in a deeper water source. If the water source is shallow, it is necessary

to dig the water suction point deeper in advance to ensure that there is no debris and no air. The water pumps of different water sprinkler trucks 

have different requirements for water sources. The clean water pump requires no impurities in the water, and the turbid water pump requires no 

stones and excessive silt in the water.

2: The water inlet pipe of the water sprinkler truck needs a vacuum state

When the water sprinkler truck absorbs water, the water inlet pipe system must maintain a certain vacuum degree to suck water into the tank. 

The water inlet pipe system must be sealed reliably, the hose cannot be damaged, and the hard pipe cannot have cracks, otherwise it will cause 

air leakage, which will cause the water to not be sucked.

3: Water sprinkler trucks need to add water before pumping

Before each centrifugal sprinkler truck pump draws water, a certain amount of water must be added to the pump, and the water inlet must be

closed after adding. Self-priming water pumps need to add water when they are used for the first time, and no more water is needed in the future.

4: Water sprinkler trucks must be drained in winter

Before winter comes, the water in the water pump and water pipes should be drained to prevent freezing and cracking. In northern my country, 

construction is generally not carried out in severe winter, so after the construction is completed, the water in the water pump and water pipes 

should be drained immediately to prevent future troubles.

5: The water sprinkler truck must be parked in the parking gear

Whether the sprinkler truck is absorbing water or spraying water, the gear shifting of the power take-off device must be carried out when the truck is parked.

6: Maintenance of the water sprinkler truck after returning to the site

Clean the water sprinkler truck. Check and add fuel, lubricating oil and coolant. Check the tightness of the belts of the fan, water pump, etc., and 

adjust them in time if they are not suitable. Check the tire pressure and the sealing of each gearbox. Check and organize the objects accompanyingthe vehicle.

7: Regular sewage discharge of the water sprinkler truck

The water tank of the water sprinkler truck is equipped with a sewage pipe, and the inlet of the tank is the low point of the water tank. After a period of use, an irregular inspection opens the sewage pipe switch to remove the accumulated debris in the tank until the water becomes clear.
